Because this is a global event and not all golf courses around the world are open yet, the originally scheduled Women’s Golf Day was moved to September 1. The organization that runs this is still honoring June 2 with a virtual event! You can go to https://womensgolfday.com/virtual-golf-day/ on June 2 to see pictures and videos of women celebrating golf.
There are a couple things YOU can do to participate in the virtual event on June 2 celebrating Women’s Golf Day:
1 – Wear Red and White!
2 – Take a picture of you practicing golf at home or golfing safely at Hilly Haven (engaging in all COVID-19 guidelines)
3 – Share your picture on Facebook and/or Instagram and TAG @womensgolfday, #WGDunites, #womensgolfday, and us too @hillyhaven
4 – Participate in one of the below challenges
#WGDunites Challenge – WGD driven. Make a video of you catching a golf ball, say your name and where you are from and something positive about staying home, toss the ball off screen (to the next person) TAG @womensgolfday, #WGDunites #womensgolfday and some friends.
#GolfAtHome Challenge – Make a video of you or people in your home practicing or golfing in or around your home. TAG #GolfAtHome #wgdunites @womensgolfday #womensgolfday
