Food Donated to Wrightstown Food Pantry

Thank you Members and Employees of Hilly Haven, for your generous contributions at our 2011 Christmas Party!
Hilly Haven's Christmas Party featured a Gift Exchange Auction, where we raised over $600 to buy this food from Dick's Family Foods in Wrightstown!
All this food was donated to the Wrightstown Food Pantry!!

Soup N Suds 2012 Event

Showcasing many of Green Bay's finest Restaurants and Beverages. Variety of beers to sample, along with many famous soups, chili, and stew recipes. There will also be a silent auction, raffle and live music.

GCOW Awards Ceremony!

 

 

Congratulations Hilly Haven Golf Course for winning the 2011 GCOW award--Food & Beverage for an 18 hole or more golf course! We were also finalists in golf course appearance & golf shop services.

A New Green Coming Soon!

Our new #7 Green may be ready for play in the spring of 2012. Much progress was made on the construction of the new Green last fall. The Green basin was constructed along with a new sand trap. Ravines were modified, drain tile with pea gravel installed, 45 trees were transplanted, vines & scrubby trees were removed, and last of all, the 19 big truckloads of blended & screened soil & sand were trucked in over the frozen tundra! Our goal is to get the irrigation lines in and connected in early spring so that we could hopefully seed everything before mid June. So lets hope for weather permitting conditions this spring!

 

 

This new Green will lengthen hole #7 by approx. 130 yards turning it into a par 5 hole. Most approach shots will be slightly downhill towards the new, extra large 9,000 sq. ft. Green. The Green is protected by a large & deep sand trap on the left, trees to the right and a background that extends beyond the Green, then gradually drops off 15-20 feet. Putts of over 100’ of undulating surface will become common on this new Green.

The entire front nine will be re-evaluated by the USGA for handicap purposes for the 2012 season.
